This van is in good running and driving condition, has been our daily driver until very recently. Took it on a road trip to Washington state last summer and would take it again.
Pros:
Very minimal rust or dents
Runs and drives good
Doesn't leak oil
Engine and tranny are reliable
Has trailer hitch
Interior in good shape
Seats 8
Leather, heated seats work
Heated mirrors work
Back window defroster works
Sunroof
Bug deflector
A/C worked last summer, haven't checked now
New power steering pressure hose installed recently
Fresh oil change
Can haul 4x8 plywood or drywall with rear seats out/down
Cons:
Needs tires
Windshield has a crack (but not directly in driver's vision)
Power doors and CD player don't work
Paint peeling on hood and roof
Right side inner tie-rod end is slightly loose
ABS and traction control don't work, but brakes work fine
DRLs don't work (we just turned headlights on)
Due for timing belt
The biggest problem with this van is that it has a slow battery drain so if it sits for a few days the battery goes dead. If you drive it every day or two it's not a problem. We got around it by disconnecting the battery when parking. Would be great for daily commuter.
