This is my MAS 49/56 in 7.62/308 that I semi converted into a Repro sniper. Unfortunately, the true scopes for these rifles are infrequent and often expensive when I looked. So I elected to mount a Vomz modern PU 3.5x. Functionally the scope is very similar to the original apx similar size, zoom and reticle. From a step back it looks rather similar to the original with a rubber eye cup. I mounted the scope to an original mount, using one of the original straps with a shim and a custom machined scope ring for the back just to dowith different dimensions from the original scope. I have the other original scope strap so if one could find an original scope this could easily be added. Also comes with an original recoil pad (the length of pull of these rifles is very short without it) it is split at the bottom but I'm not sure if that's how they all are to allow them to go on or just old rubber. Also comes with an original Sling. Two magazines. I also have a few original stripper clips (for 7.5french but they work with 308) and they do still work with the scope in place.
