This product of the cold war was made in the ancient German gun making region of Shul and is in keeping with the design and workmanship quality it’s famous for (note that the screws are even indexed). On the right frame is 1001 which is the code for the Ernst-Thälmann-Werke, Suhl, Thüringen and the left side of it and the barrel bear various proofs and acceptance marks as well as a serial number. It will chamber standard 26.5mm flares and is of alloy construction weighing in at one pound, thirteen ounces. It’s in good condition with original finish.
